Other references to 300 acres owned by Samuel in Beverly Manor. A Samuel Black is also buying land on the Bullpasture and on Christian's Ck in 1768. A Samuel Black with wife (and later widow) Rebecca is buying land on Naked Creek in the same timeframe, and his sons are identified with Beverly Manor and Jacksons River. Uh oh - Samuel with Rebecca is identified as the heir of John of Lewis's Ck, Beverly Manor. Impossible to separate the several Samuel Blacks without a detailed study of the passage of lands.
