1880 census: searched entire Palatine Twp, Belle Plain Twp and City of Belle Plain; not found yet (father Logan was a boarder in another house in Palatine Twp)

I did find Marshall's obit (Logan's son). According to it Marshall was born in Virginia and came with his parents to Illinois when quite young. He removed to this state (KS) in the spring of 1877 and located in the Palestine township. (This is in Sumner Co., just east & south of Belle Plaine.) He did not marry until 06 Jan. 1881.
