    Notes
    • Married April 8, 1800 Elizabeth Lockridge dau. of Samuel & Elizabeth Lockridge, migrated to KY. [Cleek p.96]
-- note that Cleek was talking about Thomas who was supposedly a s/o Robert & Jean (Kincaid) Gwin. Thomas should've married before 1795 when Joseph was born, so I'm not sure what to make of this marriage, which isn't recorded in the usual places in Augusta co as far as I know.

SEPTEMBER, 1802 (H to Z). Hughart vs. Adams--Road appeal from Augusta. [Chalkley vol 2, p.31]
--not necessarily this Thomas, but since James & Joseph also signed, it seems likely
