      Cleek shows him listed as the 3rd son of Robert & Jane/Jean, but doesn't give dates for the others, so that could be meaningless.

      SEPTEMBER, 1793: David Gwin vs. Stephen Wilson and Jane--Slander. Bath, 7th September, 1791. William Gwin, Bath County, deposes, 25th August, 1792, that David bears a good character. They have lived neighbors 24 years. Julian Irick, Bath County, deposes, 25th August, 1792. Coonrad Irick. William Stines, 4th September, 1792, late of Bath, now of Georgia. Names son David who is not of age (21); son Robert, his present wife [revealed in later action to be named Polly], and their son David; son John and wife [later revealed to be Peggy] and their son David; dau. Sally and husband Thomas Kincaid and their son David Kincaid; daughters Isabella, Margaret, Rachel, Susan; son-in-law Robert Lockridge and his wife Polly; son James; dau. Nancy and her husband James Wiley and their children [not named]; dau. Elizabeth and her husband Samuel Givens or Givin and their children (not named); dau.       Estate inventoried Feb 28, 1822 by John Sitlington, John Carlile, Walter Richards. 2 slaves added in July. Estate sold in Feb, various debts settled in July; here, Wm. Hogshead is listed as William E. Hogsett.
