This page has all the Wan*l*s entries in the index at ancestry.com. Many 1851 census records were lost or destroyed, and we know the following families are missing:

• family of John Wanless & Margaret McDonald in London, Middlesex co
• family of John Wanless & Elizabeth Olivia Robinson (who may not be married in 1851) in or around Brockville, Leeds co or Kingston, Frontenac co.
• family of George Wanless & Ellen Wanless of  Carillon, Argenteuil (then Deux Montagnes) co.
